City of Davenport (pop. 2,400) - Small, charming and growing community seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of public works director. 
Performs complex supervisory, administrative and technical work directing all operations and divisions of the Public Utilities Department, including: Water Treatment and Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Treatment and Utility Billing.  Also, directs all operations and divisions of the Public Works Department, including: Building Maintenance and Street Maintenance. 

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; supplemented by five years of progressively responsible administrative/supervisory experience in municipal public works or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Salary: $40,000 - $46,000 DOQ. Excellent benefits. Deadline: open until filled.
