COURSE:
The rolling 8 KM course has three aid
stations, and is well marked by a broken
line on the entire route.
ENTRY:
Pre-registered entries must be
postmarked on or before August 18, 2006.
AWARDS:
8K:
Overall Male and Female Trophies.
Overall Masters Male and Female Trophies
(40 years and older).
Overall Grandmasters Trophies (60 years
and older).
Trophies to top three finishers in each
age group.
(Start at 13-15 and 16-19, then in
5-year brackets to 80+).
(Overall winners will not receive age
group trophies).
Children’s Run:
(12 years and under only): Trophies will
be awarded to 1st place male
and female age group winners. Ribbons
will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd
place male and female age group winners.
(Age groups will be determined after
entry deadline.) Children must
pre-register by 8:30 a.m.
INFO:
8 k Race begins promptly at 7:30 a.m.,
Trophies will be awarded as soon as
possible after the race. Then plan to
stay for the drawing of our many
valuable door prizes. You must be
present to win.
DIRECTIONS:
FROM ORLANDO OR TAMPA, take I-4 to Hwy.
27 South exit, to CR 547. At traffic
light, turn left and go to Hwy. 17-92
(next traffic light), ten right to
Allapaha Ave. You should see Chamber
Building on left just past the pool.
FROM SOUTH, take Hwy. 27 North to CR
547, then right to the next traffic
light. Make a right and you should see
Allapaha Ave. and the Chamber Building.
Or take Hwy. 17-92 to Palmetto St. in
Davenport; make a right to stop sign,
chamber Building is on the left across
the road.
